Britney Spears has got something to fall back on in case her music career doesn’t last much longer. Both Us Weekly and Life & Style Weekly are reporting that Spears has applied for a job at Hollywood club, Les Deux.

According to L&S, Britney visited Les Deux on June 29 with some girlfriends. An insider claims, “Brit told a manager, ‘I want to get a job here — I love the sexy red corsets the cocktail waitresses wear!’ To which the manager replied, “Well, you should fill out an application then!�

Says the source, “Everyone thought she was joking, but she seemed dead serious…She filled out the application — her work history, address, social security number — and then went to a back room to interview with the manager.�

The story was the same at Us Weekly, though they claim the incident took place on July 6. The Us source said that once Britney filled out the application, “she looked through her calendar and said that she couldn’t do it ‘this day, this day or that day’ because she has her kids. But she asked if she could begin the following Saturday [July 14].�

According to Us, Britney did show up at Les Deux on the 14th, but was unable to work because there was no manager on hand.
