AMY WINEHOUSE DAZZLES CROWD, HEADS STRAIGHT FOR LOCAL DIVE

Plainly stated, Amy Winehouse has been a big MESS lately.

She acquired a bad rep when she canceled out on several shows alleging to be sick or exhausted, but was caught red handed by the photogs either spilling out of her local bar or involved in some sort of mischief. She's apparently decided it was time to combat all the bad press with her biggest weapon, her voice.
The soulful crooner dazzled the audience at a recent concert at London's ICA, part of the ongoing iTunes festival, with critics calling her performance, "stunning."

British newspaper The Daily Mail described Amy's set, "flanked by a nine-piece band decked out in slick black suits that were in keeping with the soulful Sixties vibe of her acclaimed album… Her tiny physique clad in a black and white vintage dress the straps of which fell down repeatedly throughout the show, Winehouse achieved instant forgiveness for her poor timekeeping as soon as she opened her mouth."

It's wasn't a total 180 for the Back to Black star. The paper reports that Amy arrived 50 minutes late to the venue and as soon as her show was over, she changed out of her stage getup into jeans and a vest and headed to her faithful local pub.
