There were two ceremonies. The first took place at Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita. Only Lancaster, Stewart and two witnesses – Lancaster’s parents - were present. The second ceremony happened in a village near Portofino at La Cervara. A statement released by the pair said, "The couple exchanged vows in the presence of 100 family and friends.�?

Following the second ceremony, a dinner reception was held. A band played “Cockney favorites,�? reported the Daily Mail. Later there were fireworks, but the newlyweds retired to their nearly $250,000/week yacht before the partying ended.

The couple will enjoy "a Mediterranean holiday," said Stewart’s rep, before the singer has to return to the UK for a tour.
