Real reason behind Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal's break up

If you were hoping to see recently split Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal patch things up, you’re in for some bad news. According to a source close to Reese, the pair are unlikely to reunite romantically.

The insider told People magazine, "They just recently broke up. It's totally and completely over…They're still friends. Things are fine, but it was a clean break – [there's] no chance of getting back together." But don’t feel sorry for 31-year-old Reese, she "was the one who had to do it," said the snitch.

Of Reese’s reasons for calling it quits with her 26-year-old Rendition co-star, the snitch said, "She just got out of a divorce and was so concerned with her family, she just didn't have the time for him and he really demanded that."
