Pete Doherty plans to sue Gatecrasher organizers

Pete Doherty plans sue the organizers of the Gatecrasher's Summer Sound System event in Leeds, England for advertising an appearance by him -- but not booking him for the event.

Fans expected the Babyshambles frontman to perform as a guest DJ.

But the star insists he was not booked to appear at the event and has asked his lawyers to look into legal action against the organizers of the concert reports NOW magazine.

His spokesman says, "Pete's supposed non-show was reported extensively in the media and, despite an admission from Gatecrasher that Pete was never confirmed to appear, they have so far refused to issue a public apology."
