The leggy beauty with the attitude has been strutting her stuff at a series of commercial American fashion shows aimed at paying audience members with no connection to the high-end fashion industry.
The Fashion Week Live tour charges up to $1,500 a head and has graced cities quite some distance from the couturier houses of Paris or Milan.
A source tells the paper, "You would think Naomi would be catwalking in Milan and London, but she has actually had to resort to a series of shows in Dallas, San Francisco, Houston and Chicago."
Apparently Naomi is trying to gather up as much cash as she can to help her deal with the number of lawsuits she's accumulated under her Hermes belt.
The source added, "Naomi has been sued by various staff who claim she assaulted them and it's cost her a fortune to reach settlements.
"Just last Friday she agreed to pay another one to former assistant Amanda Brack, who claimed Naomi hit her with her BlackBerry."
Another reason given for Naomi's money woes is her penchant for spending on unnecessary frivolities.
T he source reveals, "Even though she owns a home in London she will take a suite at Claridge's or the Berkeley when she's in the city."
Sure splurging on a super luxurious hotel suite down the block from your super luxurious flat is FABULOUS, but clearly Naomi doesn't get that bumping Chanel for a strut through the Dallas Convention Center is NOT!!!
