Max Snow gives Mary-Kate Olsen a promise ring
Could the Olsen twins be in for a rift? Mary-Kate and Ashley have made almost all of their big steps in life together. But now that Mary-Kate is getting serious with boyfriend Max Snow, it may mean the end of their closeness. According to In Touch Weekly, Max – who is actress Uma Thurman’s cousin – gave Mary-Kate a vintage Hermes Kelly bag for her recent 21st birthday. The highly-coveted bags can cost thousands of dollars. But as if that wasn’t enough, he also presented her with a diamond promise ring. The trendy gift signifies an intention to be married and this particular ring has even more meaning: it is a Snow family heirloom. A source told In Touch, “Mary-Kate and Max are very serious. They’re practically living together and will probably get engaged before the end of the year…She loves Max so much.� One person who is unlikely to be excited about the ring is Ashley. An insider told Celebrity Babylon, “Ashley never liked [Max] from the get go, and now, as time has gone on, she thinks that he's a bad influence on Mary-Kate. It worries Ashley that Mary-Kate is so passive around him, and lets him do the decision making." Will Max decide to propose to Mary-Kate soon? Will Ashley give her sister an ultimatum (i.e., “It’s Max or me!)? Only time will tell. |
