Lindsay Lohan plans to skip the MTV Movie Awards

Lindsay Lohan won't be attending Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, MSN reports.

The actress, who checked into rehab earlier this week, was one of several celebrity presenters scheduled for the show. Her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, said in a brief e-mail that she wouldn't be there.

Lohan checked into rehab after a wild Memorial Day weekend during which she crashed her Mercedes Benz into a curb, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend's car.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan's lawyer says her 21st birthday bash in Vegas is still on. He tells BWE: “Just because you’re sober doesn’t mean you can’t go out and have fun. Part of sobriety is that you can go out into normal society and just go out. Who say’s you can’t move your boot on the dance floor?�
