British pop star Lily Allen was arrested yesterday for allegedly Kung Fu kicking a couple of paparazzi photogs in London's Soho neighborhood last March, The Sun newspaper reports.

The singer was formally arrested after arriving at the police station for a scheduled appointment and then questioned over the allegations.

The "Smile" singer allegedly tried to kick one photog and punched another outside a nightclub on March 12.

Lily went through standard arrest processing. She had her photo taken and gave fingerprints and a DNA sample before being bailed from London's West End Central jail.

Photog Kevin Rush, 43, filed a complaint with the police and said, "She went berserk."

A London policeman confirmed to the paper, "A 21-year-old woman was arrested over an allegation of assault and released on bail to return in late July."

Lily, girl? You need to chill out. We clearly see this as a pathetic attempt by Lily to snatch the bad girl crown off of her arch nemesis Amy Winehouse. But she's going to have to try a lot harder than that.

Amy scratches phrases into her flesh with shards of glass. Kung Fu kicking paparazzi? Just lame!
