The first incident occurred in Sweden when Justin and his new girlfriend Jessica Biel went to the Hard Rock Café with a group of ten others. Several fans were in the area hoping to snap a picture with the popstar. When he turned them down, one kid called him a "f***face," causing Justin to yell back, "Are you calling me f***face? Go f*** yourself," reported the Daily Mirror's 3AM Girls.
The fans - if you could still call them that - and photographers didn't back down. They followed Justin's group throughout the night, eventually winding up outside his hotel. An irritated Timberlake then retaliated, throwing objects at the crowd from the roof of his hotel. One witness told 3AM, "First a load of ping-pong balls came raining down. Then came a plastic bottle of water. After that, there was strawberries and other fruit. And then came the phlegm." Nino Antonio El-Khoury, 17, told reporters, "Justin spat on me" after he was spotted with wet clothes.
Later in the tour in Norway, Justin yelled at paparazzi following him. An onlooker told Us Weekly, "He shouted 'you f***ing a**hole' to one photographer, and his bodyguard threatened to crush my cell phone." When photographers continued to follow Justin, he took a picture of one of them and then showed him the image. "This is a picture of an a**hole," said Timberlake as he showed off his camera work. This incident was videotaped and posted on the Dagbladet (a Norwegian newspaper) website.
