As if the Lohan family needed more stress, a Long Island judge has ordered them to undergo family therapy sessions. As Lindsay is no longer a minor, she would not be required to participate in the sessions, but her father Michael, 13-year-old sister Aliana and 11-year-old brother Dakota would. It is unknown whether Lindsay's mother Dina would also have to participate.

Judge Stacy Bennett of Nassau Family Court in Mineola said she hopes the therapy will help to reunite Michael with his two younger children. Bennett also ordered that Michael be allowed to have more phone time with Aliana and Dakota.
The custody battle between Dina and Michael has been ugly. Dina has alleged that she and her children are afraid of Michael. Meanwhile, the National Enquirer claims that court documents show that Michael has accused Dina of cocaine use. The documents read, "During our courtship, my wife abused cocaine on a regular basis. She would fly into fits of rage…and while my wife was pregnant with our oldest child, Lindsay, she would travel regularly to Flushing, Queens, in order to purchase cocaine. My wife has always rationalized her use of cocaine by saying that 'it sharpens her talents'"
