Bound to feature heavily in Jen's book are all the details of the break-up that stunned the world, which happened following a holiday over New Year 2005.
Jetting to the Caribbean island of Anguilla, Brad and Jen seemed to be enjoying a break with Jen's Friends co-star Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette. But sources say the holiday served as the opportunity for the couple to break the news to their friends. "They sat them down and, of course, the Arquettes were upset but supportive," says a source. Another insider remembers Brad's caring attitude towards Jen as the bomb dropped. "He kept putting his arms around her and making sure she was okay."
Witnesses also recall, however, that while Brad appeared to be open about his reasons for calling it a day, that was far from the case. "He told her, 'I'm not leaving you for anyone, I just need to be alone for a while,'" says one source. "But after they split he went running right to Angelina. She has a hold on him that Jennifer never did." However, if the split was shocking to everyone else, there's more than a hint that Jen saw it coming.
The clues in Brad's mysterious phone calls
One friend recalls the signs Brad's mind was elsewhere were right there in front of Jennifer — and that she was far from blind to them.
"I remember Jennifer talking about waking up at two in the morning and finding Brad talking to someone [on the phone] when he was making Mr. & Mrs. Smith," says the pal. "When Jen asked what the deal was, Brad would just say, 'Work stuff. Don't worry, go back to bed.'"

Ross and Rachel?!
They were TV's best-loved couple, but did Ross and Rachel hook up in real life as well as on screen? Rumour has it Jennifer had a crush on Friends co-star David Schwimmer, but her feelings had to take a back seat to the show's success. However, with the pair still good pals after the show's end, insiders say she may now reveal all.
"She really loved him," reveals a friend of Jennifer, "although they made a pact they weren't going to kill the Friends golden goose by having an on-set romance."
Vince beats Brad in bed!
Jen's memoirs are also likely to cover her rebound relationship with Vince Vaughn. "He came into her life when she was embarrassed about Brad and Angelina and wasn't really feeling sexy or pretty anymore," says Jen's pal. "Vince gave Jen her confidence back."
And Vince, 37, gave her a whole lot more than that. The actress reportedly rates the Weddings Crashers star as a better lover than her ex hubby.
"Jennifer says it was awkward making love to Vince at the beginning," an insider says. "But in the end he proved to be a great lover — better than Brad!"
