Kate is an old pal of Davinia who gave birth to the healthy 7 lbs. baby just this past Monday at the Portland Hospital in London - the same place where Victoria Beckham gave birth to her two boys Brooklyn and Romeo. They even had the same doctor oversee their labor.
Dave Gardner was a former manager of Dave's teammate and the paper says Beckham was "delighted to accept" the honor.
A source close to the parents said, “Davinia had a straightforward labour and is in great spirits. She was upbeat all the way through and Dave was at her side holding her hand.
“Kate paid a visit to the hospital yesterday afternoon with her model pal Rose Ferguson.
“She was desperate to see Davinia and is absolutely delighted about being a godmother.?
The writer points out an obvious problem with this pair. How are the spouses going to get along during the ceremony? Can we really expect Kates crackhead hubby Pete Doherty to play nice with Victoria Posh while their respective other halves are attending to a family ritual?
One thing is for sure, however scandalous the ceremony is poised to be, that is going to be one happy kid come birthdays and graduations. You gotta love the filthy rich that even in the unfortunate case of who assumed care of a child in the unfortunate event of his or her parents untimely death, they still find a way to make us drool with envy.
