Keri Russell, star of the break out summer indie hit Waitress, gave birth to her first child on June 9. The birth of her son River Russell Deary was announced on Monday. River’s father is Keri’s husband Shane Deary.
One June 14, Kevin James and his wife Steffiana De la Cruz welcomed a daughter. The little princess of Queens is named Shea Joelle and is the second child for Kevin and Steffiana, who were married in 2004.
Tiger Woods’s wife Elin Nordegren gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Sam Alexis on June 18. Via a post on his website, Woods said, "Both Elin and Sam are doing well and resting peacefully. We want to thank our doctors and the hospital staff for all their dedicated and hard work. This is truly a special time in our lives and we look forward to introducing Sam to our family and friends over the next few weeks. We thank everyone for their well wishes and continued respect of our privacy."
Jeff Gordon and wife, Ingrid Vandebosch welcomed their first child on June 20. They named the 7 lbs, 1 oz. baby Ella Sofia Gordon. Jeff said on his website, "It's been an absolutely incredible experience. Ingrid came through amazingly and we're both really happy and overjoyed. We can't wait to get home and start our lives together as a family."
And though she still has five months to go until she gets her bundle of joy, former “Sopranos� star Drea de Matteo is already complaining about her baby weight. She told People magazine, “I just feel fat, but I feel great. I feel like I'm carrying the baby in my [behind], it's so big." Drea is expecting the child with her longtime boyfriend Shooter Jennings. She said, "We don't know what we're having yet. But I use 'she,' because I'm getting so fat, I think it's a girl!"
Finally, Tom Cruise's rep has rubbished claims that his wife Katie Holmes is pregnant again. The flack told Britain's Daily Mail, "They are not expecting a second child."
