Paris Hilton to appeal her 45-day jail sentence?

Paris Hilton has filed a notice with the court, vowing to appeal her 45-day jail sentence reports TMZ.

The notice is required before lodging the appeal. Hilton's lawyers must prove that the trial judge abused his discretion by imposing the sentence reports TMZ

One experienced attorney who specializes in driving under the influence
(DUI) cases said: "Her chances of winning an appeal are little to none. The
prosecutors had a slam dunk case. The evidence was overwhelming that she
repeatedly violated her probation."

Meanwhile, the socialite Paris Hilton claims she is so hot the law won't stop hitting on her.

"I think I get in more trouble just because of who I am," the 26-year-old multimillionaire party girl tells Harper's Bazaar in the interview hitting newsstands May 22.

"The cops do it all the time," insists "The Simple Life" reality TV star. "They'll just pull me over to hit on me. It's really annoying. They're like, 'What's your phone number? Want to go to dinner?'""

Hilton appears on the magazine's June cover with Nicole Richie.

Richie was busted on DUI charges in December after two motorists reported her SUV was going the wrong way on a California freeway.

Meanwhile, Paris Hilton has rehired publicist Elliot Mintz reports INTOUCHWEEKLY.COM.

The hotel heiress attended lawyer Robert Shapiro's 'Sober Day USA' party
last night (07.05.07) accompanied by Mintz, who she sacked after he admitted
responsibility for her 45-day jail sentence.

Mintz said: "The rumors of our professional separation were
over-exaggerated."
Paris had allegedly parted ways with her publicist over the weekend after
she was handed the prison term for driving with a suspended license by a Los
Angeles judge on Friday (04.05.07).

A Christian group plans to celebrate Paris' jail sentence by trashing
her CDs at US Hilton hotels.
Mark Dice - founder of The Resistance, who have previously criticized 50
Cent and Jessica Simpson for being bad role models - will speak at Los
Angeles' Beverly Hilton on June 5 - the day Paris is due to begin her
sentence.

Paris..is wasting her time. She GOT what she deserved. She should pray and be lucky she didnt KILL anyone (this time - and trust me..there will be MORE). Example or not..(obviously..MORE Examples are needed..lol). The BOTTOM LINE..is she BROKE the law (more than once). There were MANY more times that the media photographed her driving with a suspended lic. She was only pulled over and cited twice. The judge AND THE LAW..was justified. Some people just think they are ABOVE the law..and they ARE NOT!. Reap what you have sowed Paris..pay the price of your actions..swallow (no pun intended..lol) your medicine. "LEARN YOUR LESSON!"
