She said: "It's so much harder to stay sober in New York.
"Though it's hard in Los Angeles not to go out, it gets lonely. Being an
actress is lonely, and I never want to be alone. I hate sleeping alone."
Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan is addicted to doing push-ups.
The 'Mean Girls' star felt insecure about the size of her arms and started regularly exercising her upper arm muscles, but has now become obsessed.
Lindsay told Britain's OK! magazine: "There is something that I do and people think I'm a little crazy for it but I sometimes just drop and do push-ups. And leg lifts.
"I'm always doing push-ups. Because my arms have been criticized for being really skinny I like doing them.
"And it's good because my brother used to make fun of me because I couldn't do push-ups! I do as many as I can. I'm pretty good, though. I can do a good amount."
Despite her penchant for push-ups, the 'Bobby' actress doesn't enjoy exercising but listens to her favorite Madonna records to motivate her.
Lindsay, 20, explained: "I don't like to run but when I do work out I like to listen to Madonna."
In other news, actress Felicity Huffman has defended Lindsay Lohan, insisting that the young star was a delight to work with on the set of the new film “Georgia Rule�.
