Lindsay Lohan and her mother sued

According to Washington Post, rumored cocaine lover Lindsay Lohan and her mother have been sued by a freelance photographer.

Photographer Giovanni Arnold claims he "sustained severe and permanent personal injuries" when he was struck by the BMW on March 13 on Ninth Avenue between 12th and 13th streets.

Arnold suffered injuries to both knees and was "still getting medical treatment," his lawyer, Marc Mauser, said Tuesday. He said Arnold was seeking unspecified monetary damages "for his pain and suffering and his lost wages."

The complaint claims the Lohans were "negligent, careless and reckless" with the vehicle.

The lawsuit, filed last Thursday, says the BMW was owned by Dina Lohan and that her daughter was driving it with her permission.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan has topped Maxim magazine's list of the 100 hottest women in the world reports stuff.co.nz

Lohan, fresh out of rehab, toppled Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria to lead the magazine's eighth annual "Hot 100" list for the first time after making her debut at number four in the list in 2005 and edging up to number three last year.

"There is no other star in the world that causes more of a stir in the public eye than Lindsay. Her every move is watched and reported on," said Maxim's editor-in-chief Jimmy Jellinik.

Lohan, who is currently starring in the movie Georgia Rule in which she plays a troubled young woman, said she was thrilled.

"I couldn't be more flattered to be honored as the number 1 girl in Maxim's Hot 100 list!" Lohan said in the statement.
