KYLIE MINOGUE & Alexander Dahm' "just friends"

Over the weekend, UK gossips claimed Kylie Minogue has a close friendship with a dashing film director. The Spinning Around star was pictured hugging Dahm at Chile's Santiago Airport on Wednesday (02May07), where she is said to be holidaying with the father-of-one.

The pair originally met in Acapulco, Mexico, in January (07) while Kylie was modeling bikinis for her beachwear range for European fashion store H&M, and they have since developed a close friendship.

Alexander Dahm's wife says, "Alexander and Kylie have struck up a friendship. But it's ridiculous to think there is some sort of affair going on. There isn't, they're only friends and I'm not worried...

"It's actually funny to think her and Alexander could be involved in a romance... Alexander is there for work and I have nothing to worry about."

Mrs Dahm said her husband had told her that it was a 'coincidence' that Miss Minogue was in Chile at the same time as him.

Mrs Dahm said her husband had been phoning her daily but she could not get in touch with him. He told her his mobile phone charger did not work on the different voltage in Chile.

"His mobile has been off for two days." she said. However, when the paper contacted Dahm - on his mobile - he said: "It's my private life - it's none of your business."
