The bad body image blues has been hitting some big names in music hard these days. First, British sensation Lily Allen posted on her MySpace blog that she was researching liposuction because she thinks she is chubby. Now Star magazine (via I'm Not Obsessed) is reporting that Kelly Clarkson is on a mission to lose weight in order to get a boyfriend.
Says an insider, "[Kelly] feels pressure from her label, her handlers, and her friends to lose weight. She's always moaning about how she can't find a boyfriend and she blames this dry spell on her weight." Kelly was initially skeptical about her advisors' suggestion that she lose weight, but she has given in and is now looking to lose 25 pounds ASAP.
But dropping the pounds might not be easy for Clarkson, who has a taste for junk food. Says one source, "Sometimes she's in the studio for 14 hours and the only food she eats is fast food, potato chips, and candy bars." Star also claims that Kelly is no fan of working out.
