Is Nicole Richie in Rehab?

The big question in Hollywood right now is did Nicole Richie go to rehab this month? While both Star magazine and The National Enquirer are vowing that she did, Richie's publicist is stating otherwise.

"She is not in rehab. She is at home in Glendale. Sobriety is an ongoing process but she is sober," Richie's rep told Us Weekly. Still Nicole's flack does not state whether, as Star and the Enquirer report, the 25-year-old reality TV star was in rehab this past weekend. The tabloids say she checked in to the Beau Monde Treatment Center in Corona Del Mar, California on May 11th and returned on Saturday after beginning an out-patient program.

According to sources, Nicole weighed only 83 pounds at the time of her admittance to Beau Monde. One insider said, "Nicole's been a mess for months. Her weight has plummeted."

In addition to dealing with anorexia, Nicole is receiving treatment for substance abuse and reportedly spent several days at Beau Monde "detoxing" before starting out-patient treatment. She allegedly returned to the center in her Mercedes G Wagon at 10 am on May 19th with an overnight bag. Both magazines claim to have pictures of Nicole's arrival at the center that day.
