Howie Day Bad For Britney Spears?

Her mum Lynne has questioned Howie Day's motives, but 25-year-old Britney refuses to listen reports NOW Magazine.

In 2004, Howie was arrested for reportedly locking a fan in the bathroom of his tour bus after she allegedly refused his sexual advances, plus breaking the mobile phone of another who was trying to call the police.

The next year, he was arrested in Boston for verbally abusing a flight crew while under the influence of alcohol and sleeping pills.

'Britney's been seeing this guy on and off since she left rehab,' a source tells Now. 'He's been texting her “strength messages�? they learnt in their support groups.

'They were both advised by their counsellors to avoid striking up romances with fellow rehabbers, but they met up and felt a real connection.

'Lynne wants Britney to take time out before she leaps into anything. But Britney's telling her to butt out and it's causing rows.'

Meanwhile, Britney Spears completed her small comeback tour with a show at a Las Vegas House of Blues venue.

The singer danced and mimed her way through ‘Hit Me Baby,’ ‘I'm A Slave,’ ‘Breathe on Me,’ ‘Do Something’ and ‘Toxic’ backed by four female dancers.

Despite being pronounced a sell out, the show is alleged to have attracted around 1,500 people to the 1,800-seat theatre reports EntertainmentWise.
