Heather Mills Still Loves Sir Paul McCartney

Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills have put an end to their fighting for the sake of their daughter Beatrice reports NW Magazine.

The pair showed no sign of animosity when they met at a London bistro to talk about their messy multi-million dollar divorce, while three-year-old Bea played nearby.

"They sat there chatting away — everyone was astonished, especially considering how bitterly they fought over their divorce," says a stunned onlooker. "When they left, they were side-by-side and seemed very friendly."

After the chat, Heather, 39, even allowed Paul to spend the afternoon with Bea.

Just months ago, the warring couple wouldn't even stand in the same street, and Bea was shuttled between her parents by nannies.

"It's an amazing about-turn, but they've both looked at their behavior and vowed to get along for Bea's sake," a close friend reveals.

Her admission came in a heart-to-heart with a close pal at the American Idol aftershow party in Los Angeles.

Her friend revealed: "She said she'd been devastated by the divorce and has become an emotional wreck.

"Heather doesn't care about the huge load of money coming her way.

"She'd much rather be happily married than rich and miserable.

"She said she would gladly give back every penny for another shot at happiness with Paul.

"She loved being married to him and it was the biggest regret of her life that things became so awful between them that divorce was the only option."
