Georgy Was High as a Kite!

Nooooooooo, you don't say?!?!? George Michael, who pleaded guilty to driving while "unfit", had several drugs in his system including GHB (more commonly known as the "date-rape drug") when he was arrested. Head prosecutor Andrew Torrington delivered the not-so-shocking details to the Brent Magistrates Court in London, hearing the case today. Also found in Georgy's aging body was a therapeutic quantity of an antidepressant and marijuana. Awesome!

Unless your head was stuck in the mud the past 8 months, you will recall that Georgy was arrested in the early hours of Oct. 2 after police responded to complaints that a car was blocking an intersection in North London. They showed up and found him slumped over the wheel of his car, looking nearly unconscious - a heaping pile of prehistoric pop star MESS. What an orgasmic sight it must have been to behold for the lucky paparazzi that were first on the scene. The image is permanently etched into the collective mind of the gossip whore's of the world.

Georgy chalked up the incident up to "tiredness and prescribed drugs" and his lawyer told the court that a prescription sleeping drug was the most likely explanation for the singer's condition.

The case has been adjourned until June 8 for sentencing, the day before Georgy is scheduled to perform at Wembley Stadium as part of his ongoing European tour.

As if the photo didn't solidify it enough, I think Georgy can pretty much count out any future invitations to sit and hold court on Oprah Winfrey's couch. See, publicists can spin anti-depressant abuse till the cows come home but the date-rape drug taken for pleasure? Not so much!
