Did Britney Spears and Ryan Phillippe get it on?

Gossips are buzzing about what's going on between Britney Spears and Ryan Phillippe after the pair were seen laughing and flirting at a nightclub reports NW magazine.

"The talk of the clubbing crowd is Britney and Ryan are hooking up," says an insider. "It sure looked like it from the scene they put on at Les Deux last week. They were all over each other."

After dining with pals at Dominick's restaurant in West Hollywood, Britney arrived at the popular club. However, once there she ditched her friends and headed straight for the VIP area alone.

Not far behind her was Ryan, who was without his usual posse of male pals.

"It looked like a total set-up and they each knew the other was going to be there at that time," a source says. "They looked awfully familiar and intimate for two people who just ran into each other."

"Ryan came alone, too. He never shows up alone — he's always got an entourage with him. But not that night, which makes everyone believe it was a pre-planned hook-up.""For the few minutes before he showed up, Britney kept staring at the door like she couldn't wait for someone to arrive," an onlooker tells.

"When he did get there they started chatting away like old pals. Ryan was drinking cocktails, Britney was downing Red Bull, and it took about another two minutes before the flirting started."

"They stayed in their own private area — in their own private world — just the two of them, laughing and chatting and touching each other," a source says. "They have major chemistry together and it wasn't lost on anyone who saw them together."
