Britney Spears Private Parts Picture Becomes Billboard Ad

New Zealand locals are upset over a poster of Britney Spears showing the blonde beauty climbing out of a car with her vagina barely covered . Locals have slammed the ad as "degrading."

The photograph of Spears was taken in Hollywood late last year, when the Toxic singer got out of a car without wearing any underwear. Her private parts on the billboard were covered up by a pair of blue panties and carried the headline, "Something Everyone Wants To See."

The country's Advertising Standards Agency received complaints about the advertisement for TV broadcaster Sky, and ruled the poster must come down because it is offensive to women.

Sky's lawyers argued the image was used to demonstrate the fact that "people wouldn't want to see 'Britney's bits', but there was something they would want to see on Sky".

They add, "There will always be advertisements which offend some people and it is accepted that each of the seven complainants has been offended.

"However, there will be many people in Auckland who have seen the billboard and have known the background and are not offended."

In other news, Britney Spears is opening up to fans, writing on her her Web site: "I just wanted to reach out to all of you and explain some of the things that I have been faced with recently."

In a nearly 900-word message, the singer, 25, addresses such topics as her stint in rehab, the pressures she's under, the realizations she's made over the last year, and the blessings of having children reports PEOPLE.

"Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom," she writes. "Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD [attention deficit disorder]."
