Richard Spencer, the editor-in-chief of US magazine In Touch Weekly, agrees it is the celebrities who are to blame for their overexposure.
Spencer said: "No one wants to read about the cup of tea and the great banana bread a star made yesterday.
"What gets exposure? Kissing a guy at four in the morning."
