According to the New York Post. Vanessa Minnillo wants to become an actress on the West coast, the move with Nick allows her to focus and save.

The couple have been dating for about a year now..

Last week, Nick lachey reportedly popped the question to Vanessa.
The pop star who divorced Jessica Simpson in June 2006 won a “yes�? from his girlfriend.

“Nick brought up the topic again when he and Vanessa were celebrating Valentine’s Day,�? says a source close to the couple.

“Nick asked Vanessa to move from her home base in NYC to be with him in L.A. At the same time he asked her for her hand in marriage.�?
