Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish Reunite

Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish are set to take their relationship public reports NW Magazine

The pair met last year on the set of their film Stop Loss. Gossip claim, Abbie Cornish was behind Ryan and wife Reese Witherspoon's spilt.

Following a round of reshoots for Stop Loss, the pair's self-imposed separation is at an end. As with the first round of filming, sources say the duo have been virtually inseparable. "It's clear they have chemistry together," says an insider.

Adds another source, "Ryan and Abbie are back on. Things cooled between them after the whole divorce scandal between Ryan and Reese, but they were called back for reshoots [recently] and the sparks started flying the second they hit the set."

Second time around, Ryan, 32, is making no attempt to conceal his attraction to Abbie, 24.

"When they started making this movie last year, they had to sneak around and play footsie under the table," says the source. "They don't have to anymore!"

Insiders say the pair have made no secret of the fact they're hooking up and were openly kissing in front of the crew from the first day of the reshoot.

"They locked onto each other straight away," tells the source. "He greeted her with a big open-mouth kiss in front of half the crew."

According to insiders, the word on set is that Abbie has barely spent time alone since the reshoot began. They say the couple flirt incessantly and are constantly giggling and having secret conversations.

"They're very playful," says one source, "always whispering in each other's ears, going over their lines — and making fun of the script!"

While Ryan went on a dating spree after splitting with Reese, it seems he's now past that phase and is ready to settle down with Abbie. "His feelings for Abbie seem sincere," says the source.
