Pete Doherty back in rehab
The Babyshambles frontman has been booked into a Midlands clinic, where he will be provided with an implant to help beat his heroin addiction reports DigitalSpy. "Pete did go out on a bender last week," one of the 28-year-old's band-mates told the Sunday Mirror, "but he has reduced his intake massively and he hopes the new implant will help him quit for good." Doherty's latest detox stint means he will miss the launch of Moss' Top Shop fashion collection in London tomorrow. Meanwhile, Stephen Street is set to produce Babyshambles' new album. The veteran producer who has worked with the likes of Blur and Kaiser Chiefs will take control of the band's second album in the next few weeks reports NME.COM. Speaking to NME.COM, Pete Doherty said his band were already to go. "We're going in the studio with Stephen Street soon, we're going to make a start," he explained. |
