Mariah Carey to adopt?

Beauty Mariah Carey is allegedly planning to adopt a Mexican orphan.

The “Heartbreaker�? singer reportedly visited Mexico's Frank Gonzalez orphanage with
her lawyer recently and rumors are now rife she is considering adopting a
child.

A representative for Mariah has refused to comment, only saying they would
not speak about her personal life.

Last month, Mariah Carey - who married former Sony Music Entertainment chief, Tommy Mottola. in 1993 revealed she was "ignorant" to marry so young.

Mariah said: "I regret the situation a lot, because I was young and ignorant, and I didn't realise what I was doing. If I could go back again, I wouldn't do it."

The 36-year-old still believes in marriage but worries she will never make such a commitment again.

Mariah said: "I believe in marriage as an institution. I believe in it for people who are really made for one another.

"I'm a romantic. It's great that people get married - and stay married - have children and a wonderful life together, but I don't know if its going to happen to me. But I want the whole package - marriage and a family."
