Lindsay Lohan wants to play Princess Diana.

The beauty says she’s a big fan of the late royal and said it would be “amazing�? reports MSNBC.
“She gave back a lot and was such an amazing woman,�? Lohan told In Touch Weekly.

To prepare for the role Lohan is planning to emulate her idol. She told the mag she’s traveling to Japan soon with her pal designer Charlotte Ronson and is “researching some charity work that I can do and visit some orphanages.�?

Last week, the,driving-challenged actress left The Ivy with a book sitting on her center console, titled, "God's Promises for Your Every Need," reports TMZ

Amazon.com describes the book by saying, "No matter what your situation, God has a promise for you!"

In other news UK party-girl Sarah Harding has blasted wild child Lindsay Lohan for her boozy ways and warned: “Don’t ever compare me to her!�?

She said: “Last year I thought it was a bit of a laugh. But I had too many
hangovers. I’ve met Lindsay before and I didn’t really like her much.

“I like to have a drink but she does it too much. So don’t ever compare us.�?
