Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz were spotted in a passionate embrace at an LA promotional event for Shrek The Third, sparking rumors of a reconciliation reports NW Magazine

And when the couple were spied kissing in a hotel, pals of the singer confirmed that Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are indeed giving things another go.

"No-one would have thought it, but it looks like they are back together — for now, at least," confirms a friend.

"I guess it was just that Justin all of a sudden realised how good Cameron was," explains the pal. "He dated women that are supposed to be the hottest in Hollywood, and frankly they just didn't interest him."

"When they actually were forced to spend time together again, Justin realized there was still something there, that maybe he walked away too soon," says the pal.

"Their old problems might come up, and it could be over again tomorrow. But they don't want to die wondering."
