Jessica Simpson: 'I might be fat, but I'm happier than ever!'

The singer says she's embraced her naturally curvy figure and learnt to love her body because of the support new boyfriend John Mayer has given her.

After months of trying to hide her weight gain under baggy jackets and oversized dresses, Jess stepped out last week in several figure-hugging outfits.

"Jessica's vowed to never starve herself again," says a friend. "She's so in love and happy with John that she's realized how much her weight isn't worth worrying about."

Meanwhile, Jessica makes her third appearance on People's 50 Most Beautiful list. The singer says she is more comfortable with her body now she is in her 20s.

The 25-year-old said: "Things I was made fun of for - thick lips and a curvy body - got better as I got older."
