Jennifer Aniston ,Mariah Carey, Cameron Diaz Unlucky in Love?
According to In Touch Weekly these stars are having a hard time finding their soulmates 1. Sheryl Crow Sheryl can’t make love last When Sheryl Crow was in sixth grade, she got her first peck in a front yard under a bush. “It was a French kiss,� the 45-year-old says. “I was really grossed out.� Her experiences with boys didn’t get much better after that. Flings with rockers Eric Clapton and Kid Rock and actor Owen Wilson fizzled fairly quickly. “I’m usually attracted to people who are really creative,� she says. “They can be sort of selfish.� When she met Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong in 2003, Sheryl thought her string of bad luck had finally ended. But after a five-month engagement — and her posing for the cover of Allure in a Vera Wang wedding dress — the couple split in February 2006. “I don’t want to spend the rest of my life alone,� Sheryl laments. “That’s the only true fear I have, because what else is there but love?�
2. Jennifer Aniston Jen still believes in love When Jennifer Aniston met Brad Pitt in 1998, it looked like her days of playing the field were over. But Hollywood’s golden couple separated in 2005 after rumors surfaced that Brad was getting cozy with Angelina Jolie. “It was hard to have such a wonderful constant in your life, and then all of a sudden, it’s not there,� admits Jen, 38. “But I’m a tough cookie.� She threw herself back into work and fell for Vince Vaughn, her co-star in The Break-Up. Even though they split last fall, Jennifer isn’t turning her back on love. “It will happen,� she says. “There’s an amazing man wandering the streets right now who’s the father of my children.�

Paula Abdul Paula is too open When Paula Abdul was starting out as a choreographer, she dated many of Hollywood’s hottest hunks. “I’m the type of girl who commits to a relationship wholeheartedly,� says the 44-year-old, who has been married twice, to Emilio Estevez and sportswear manufacturer Brad Beckerman. But since her last divorce, Paula hasn’t found Mr. Right. “I think that I share who I am completely too soon,� she admits. Last year, she enlisted the help of Dr. Phil McGraw to find her a date on national television. “When people hear me say that it is difficult to date, they say, ‘Oh please, Paula. Give me a break,’ � she says. “But it’s the truth.�
4. Hilary Duff Hilary’s happy to be single Life hasn’t been a Cinderella story for Hilary Duff. She first discovered love hurts in 2003 when Aaron Carter two-timed her with Lindsay Lohan. “He was my first real boyfriend and we were really in love,� says the 19-year-old. She then fell for Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden, but as soon as their romance fizzled last year, he found comfort in the arms of Nicole Richie. Even though Hilary denies that songs on her new album, Dignity, diss Nicole, she admits she’s happy to be solo now. “The last thing I want is to be in a relationship,� she says. “It’s nice to make decisions based on what I want. It’s empowering.�

Tyra Banks Tyra’s success gets in the way She’s got two hit shows and supermodel looks, but Tyra Banks is missing one thing — love. “I want to get married and have kids,� says the 33-year-old, “but the more successful I get, the less interested guys are.� Tyra thought her down-to-earth talk-show persona would help matters, but found its hurt. “I was like, ‘It’s going to be so much easier now because they’re going to see that I’m normal and goofy,’ but it’s worse!� she says. Still, Tyra isn't giving up: “I’m not living in fear. You’ve just got to time it right.�
6. Lauren Conrad Lauren’s heartbreak has been public Breaking up is hard to do, especially on television. As the star of MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills, Lauren Conrad’s had her heart broken three times as millions watched: High school sweetheart Stephen Colletti chose archrival Kristin Cavallari over her, bad boy Jason Wahler kissed his ex in front of her, and Brody Jenner made out with her best friend. Now, the 21-year-old is going it alone. “It’s hard being the only single one,� admits Lauren, who thinks she’ll have better luck dating guys who aren’t looking for fame. “The kind of guy I want to date is not a guy who wants to be on a reality show.�

Mariah Carey Mariah is insecure Adored by millions, Mariah Carey admits, “I feel an unconditional love from my fans that I don’t feel in any other part of my life.� Since surviving a difficult marriage to music producer Tommy Mottola, whom she wed when she was 24, the singer has had a hard time overcoming her insecurities. “I have trust issues,� says the 38-year-old, who’s dated baseball star Derek Jeter and Latin crooner Luis Miguel. “If I’m with another famous person, they’re likely to have groupies, and they’re likely to cheat on me. This is why I can still count the number of men I’ve slept with on one hand.�
8. Carrie Underwood Carrie’s too shy In Carrie Underwood’s country hit “Before He Cheats,� she sings about smashing a philandering guy’s headlights and carving up his truck. Though a college boyfriend reportedly cheated on her, Carrie insists, “I’ve never done anything like that.� Since finding fame, the 24-year-old has been linked with everyone from her American Idol co-star Anthony Fedorov to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. But she still hasn’t found a steady. “I’m pretty shy,� Carrie admits, “so I usually make the guys come to me, which backfires often!�
9. Kirstie Alley Kirstie wanted all the wrong things When Kirstie Alley lost 75 pounds last year, she gained a new outlook on love. Having gone through two broken marriages, the 56-year-old knew where she went wrong. “What I was looking for in a mate, and this is so shallow, is somebody who was really good-looking and good in bed,� she says. Now, the mom of William, 14, and Lillie, 12, has revised her criteria. “Someone I’d be with would have to love children,� she says, adding that it wouldn’t hurt if he is “a billionaire widower with a great place in Italy!�
10. Cameron Diaz Cameron is afraid commit She’s been linked to Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs, including Matt Dillon, Jared Leto and her most recent ex, Justin Timberlake. But none have convinced Cameron Diaz to settle down — yet. “I’m a commitment-phobe,� says the 34-year-old. “I don’t want to get married.� Cameron is still looking for love, but plans to take her time. “After a relationship ends, the best thing to do is just have a relationship with yourself that makes you more available to what’s ahead,� she says. |
