The National Enquirer interviewed Rock's ex, 35-year-old Kali Bowyer who claims her 13-year-old son Jordan was fathered by the star. Jordan has seizures and Kali believes that getting Chris's medical history may help with his problem. She told the Enquirer, "My son's 13 now and he knows what's going on. He told me the other day, 'I don't need him in my life, just to take the test so I can find out what's wrong with me.'"
Bowyer tells the tabloid that she and Rock met in the 1990s at a club in Los Angeles. "The first time we slept together was my 21st birthday," she says, but they had sex a total of "six or eight times." Of her quest for Chris's help, Kali said, "From the time my Jordan was born until he was 3, I was talking to Chris' lawyer, trying to get this resolved. But I kept getting brushed off. They'd asked for his birth certificate, baby pictures and OBGYN records. I complied, I was nice, and I was patient, but in the end Chris still refused to acknowledge paternity."
Eventually Bowyer gave up on getting in touch with Rock, but since her son's condition developed, she has filed court papers requesting that Rock take a paternity test. If results prove he is Jordan's father, the comedian has been asked to help with child support, medical and legal fees. Bowyer said, "I don't want a dime for myself, but support for my son. I just think that it's rude that Chris just won't respond. His attorneys exact words were, 'This is going to disrupt his life.'"
