Tom Cruise to supervise Katie Holmes's next film
Tom Cruise isn't quite ready to let loose the reins on his bride, Katie Holmes. According to insiders, the actor plans on supervising the set of Holmes's new movie, Mad Money. Shooting on Mad Money - a heist movie, which also stars Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah - is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks. A source for Page Six said, "Tom has called producers and told them he will be on set every day. He wants to observe what's going on and will probably help Katie out." Jim Acheson, a producer for the film, was unable to verify the rumor. He said, "I don't know if that's the case, so I can't confirm. We are happy to have both Katie and Tom on set." This won't be the first time Tom has guided Katie's career. Gossips claim it was Cruise's influence that caused a sex scene in Holmes's film Thank For Smoking to "mysteriously" go missing at several screenings. And Katie is said to have given up her role in the next Batman film because it was going to have love scenes. Page Six's source claimed there would be nothing for Cruise to worry about in Mad Money. Said the snitch, "Katie's agent, Hylda Queally chose this role for her because it is a female buddy movie. There is no love interest and she wouldn't be kissing anyone or have a sex scene." |
