He’s the hottest Matt in Hollywood, but Matthew McConaughey is missing one thing — someone to love.

Though the 37-year-old has dated a bevy of beauties, including Sandra Bullock and Penelope Cruz, he has yet to find his soulmate. “Settling down is something I dream of,� Matt says. But he’s having a hard time finding a woman to share his carefree lifestyle. “I’m going to have to find someone who likes to travel,� he admits. Could Kate Hudson fit the bill? The duo have set tongues wagging on the set of their new film, Fool’s Gold. Only time will tell!

Walks on the wild side

Matthew Fox wasted no time sowing his wild oats as a teenager in Wyoming: He was reportedly drinking, chewing tobacco and having sex by the time he was 14 years old. But the Lost star met his match when he fell for Margherita Ronchi at Columbia University in 1987. He says the former Italian runway model “didn’t speak very good English,� but that didn’t stop them from hitting it off. They married in 1991 and have two children, and Matt, 40, says their secret for success is that she accepts the “violent� side of him. “Margherita knows it exists,� says Matt. “And she’s very attracted to it.�

Looking for love

“I’m not used to having girls talk about me,� confesses Matt Dallas. But the Kyle XY star isn’t complaining. “They talk about my eyes and my smile. It’s nice.� And although he plays a teenager on the hit Disney show, the 24-year old is single and looking for that special someone. “I don’t go on a lot of dates,� admits Matt. But the woman who wins him over will have to share his bed with his best buddy, Sebastian — a terrier mix he rescued. “I can’t sleep at night if he’s not with me,� Matt tells In Touch.

Matthew Perry had an ulterior motive when he became an actor. “I wanted to get the girls,� admits the 37-year old. But fame hasn’t led to lasting love. Although he has dated a slew of celebrities, including Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts, Neve Campbell, Yasmine Bleeth, Lizzy Caplan and Lauren Graham, Matthew has never come close to the altar. “I’m not an unattractive man,� he says. “But I’m just awful with women. And I have really bad relationships.� But Matthew won’t give up until he finds his perfect woman: “The biggest thing is that she’s happy and funny. Attractive would be nice, too.�

Dated the wrong women

He has played the love interest of some of Hollywood’s leading ladies, including Reese Witherspoon and Kate Bosworth, but Matt Davis is not letting that go to his head. “I honestly never thought about being a sex symbol,� Matt tells In Touch. “I’m greatly flattered.� And though the 28-year-old says, “I have a long history of dating crazy women,� he’s now happily involved with Sarah Lancaster, his former What About Brian co-star. She won him over: “Being smart with a sense of humor goes a long way for me. You can’t be an idiot.�

With his baby blues, pouty lips and firm physique, Ryan Phillippe — whose birth name is Matthew — is one of the sexiest stars in Hollywood. But the doting dad of daughter Ava, 7, and son Deacon, 3, doesn’t see it that way. “I look in the mirror only when I have to and I don’t see anything special,� says the 32-year-old. That doesn’t mean Ryan doesn’t appreciate the attention. “It’s flattering,� he says. “It’s nice that people want to compliment you in a superficial way. I guess it’s better than being called ugly!�

When Matt Long was in high school, women didn’t pay much attention to him. “I looked like I was 4 years old,� he says. “I didn’t have any hair on my legs and went through the first two years without dating anyone.� But those days are a distant memory for the 26-year-old, who is married to his college sweetheart, Lora Chaffins. Now, Matt, who starred on TV’s Jack & Bobby, is looking to model his career after another talented hottie — Brad Pitt. “He’s unbelievably good-looking, but also a phenomenal actor, despite his looks.�

Matt Dillon was in a relationship with Cameron Diaz for three years, but now he prefers to date outside of the business. “I’m drawn to women who live in a world different from my own,� says the 43-year old. “James Joyce married a woman who never read any of his books.� Though he wants to settle down one day, he admits he’s got some hang-ups. “I’m at a place now where I’m open to getting married and having kids,� Matt says. “But sometimes I see parents pushing kids in strollers, dressed like their children. Even though he has a 5-month-old son, Cole, with ex Brynn Cameron, his college sweetheart, the Arizona Cardinal quarterback still lives like a teenage boy. “I’m a huge video game player,� the 23-year-old says. “Outside of football, it’s all I do right now!� Though he’s been linked to Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, Matt would much rather chill with his buddies than hit the clubs with gorgeous starlets. “It’s usually just the boys when we hang out,� admits his pal Nick Lachey.

He’s one of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars, but Matt Damon doesn’t think he’s a classic leading man. “I’ve walked into plenty of rooms and not turned a single head,� admits the 36-year-old. “I’m no ugly duckling, but there is a kind of glamour and charisma that people like Robert Redford or Paul Newman possess. It’s not there with me.� But that’s just fine with the Oscar winner, who has a 10-month-old daughter, Isabella, with wife Luciana Barroso. “These days, it’s my name and, hopefully, my acting ability that get me some attention in Hollywood.�
