Marc Jacobs enters rehab

In recent months, fashion designer Marc Jacobs has been showing a svelte and glam new look. But while he clearly cutting back on food, Jacobs wasn't cutting back on other vices. The designer has entered a rehab program in Arizona.

Jacobs has undergone rehab for drug and alcohol problems in the past. The designer's business partner, Robert Duffy, told Women's Wear Daily, "Marc made the right decision. He'd been sober for seven years. When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away. According to the experts, such a relapse isn't uncommon. Thankfully, Marc recognized the problem himself and chose to deal with it. Obviously, our prayers are with him."

Though Jacobs left for the program on March 5, the day after his Louis Vuitton collection showed in Paris, the news did not break until March 12. That same day, Jacobs was nominated for two Council of Fashion Designers of America awards for womenswear and accessories.
