The pair are planning to visit a Los Angeles recording studio this week with
producer Timbaland to re-record the Motown classic 'You're All I Need to Get By', originally a hit for Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in 1968.
Earlier this month, Timbaland approached Justin- - who first met Britney while starring on children's TV show 'The Mickey Mouse Club' and dated her for four years until 2002 - to plead for him to help propel Britney back to the top of the charts.
He said: "I feel her pain, it really bothers me. I asked Justin, 'How would
you feel about me working with Britney? Would you do it with me?' He said he
would."
Britney checked out of Malibu's Promises rehab center last week. Shortly
before she was admitted, she shocked gossips with her bizarre
behavior which included shaving her head.
On March 20, the bald beauty, stepped out in public for the first time with two of her girlfriends, Spears took a one-hour hip-hop class at Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood on Friday, March 23.
"She was very excited to dance and was smiling and saying hi to everyone," one onlooker said to Usmagazine.com.
Later that evening, a blue-contact-lens sporting Spears and three girlfriends met up for a sushi dinner at trendy Japanese fusion joint SHU-Sushi House Unico in Bel Air.
"She was really cute and having a good time with her girlfriends," an eyewitness said to Usmagazine.com. "They were giggling at the table and making jokes."
Last month, gossips claimed Justin Timberlake was fed up with people begging him to help ex-squeeze BRITNEY SPEARS get her sanity back. According to NE JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE exploded when a woman approached him as he exited his agent's office and scolded: "Why won't you help her out? I've read she's still in love with you. Can't you just try?"
Justin lashed back: "Why does everyone keep telling me I have to take care of Britney?... Britney, Britney, Britney!...She's an EX girlfriend! Doesn't anyone get it? We're NOT together anymore. I am soooo totally over her!"
Meanwhile, Britney has splashed out $8 million on a Malibu mansion and paid
an extra $1 million to move in the same day.
The 'Toxic' singer, who bid $9.2 million for the property, decided to keep
the mansion's garish animal print furniture.
A source said: "She was hungry to bring some normality to her family life.
As soon as she saw it she outbid all the rival buyers. Then she persuaded
the owners to move out immediately."
