GREY’S ANATOMY SPIN-OFF DRAMA

There’s more trouble on the set of TV’s hottest show! Last week, Grey’s Anatomy creator and producer, Shonda Rimes, announced that a spin-off of the hit series was in the works. The new show will follow the exploits of sexy neonatal surgeon, Dr. Addison Shepard, played by Kate Walsh. That news had the Grey’s cast fuming as the diva docs went into extreme jealousy mode. “Everyone felt so blindsided,� a source tells Star. “The rest of the cast seemed instantly resentful of her. They each thought they’d be the one chosen to get their own show, and now they’re giving Kate the cold shoulder.� The source adds that Grey’s star, Ellen Pompeo “seemed particularly peeved because she felt that, as the star, she should have been consulted.�

Hugh & Jemima: The Real Reason They Split

Hugh Grant’s rep claimed that his breakup with Jemima Khan was “amicable� which isn’t the least bit true. Most recently Star has learned Jemima was utterly fed up with their nearly sexless romance. A source tells Star, they’ve been like brother and sister for a long time…he (Hugh) just likes dirty girls more than the women he’s intimate with.� Well Jemima might just be better off without this sex-aphobe as her hubby.

Pete Plays the Field

Pete Wentz, Fall Out Boy’s bassist, has been making his rounds among Hollywood’s hottest ladies. On the 18th and 21st of February he was spotted with Lindsay Lohan at L.A.’s Koi and Winston’s. He didn’t spend that day in between solo, on February 20th he was accompanied by Rumer Willis, the 18-year-old daughter of Bruce & Demi, and left with ex-girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg. That’s a lot of gals in a three day time span – watch out for this girl magnet!

John Mayer & Jessica Simpson are still going strong after two months of dating; Jessica accompanied Mayer to promote his latest CD, Continuum. The two recently rolled through Chicago where they were spotted dining at Bistro 110, and Smith & Wollensky steakhouse; they even squeezed in some shopping time along Michigan Avenue. Jessica is now in NYC finishing up the romantic comedy Blonde Ambition.

Nick Cannon’s New Muse

The reps of Nick Cannon and Victoria Secret model, Selita Ebanks, denied the rumors that the two wed in Las Vegas. Although marriage may be in their future; these two have been inseparable since their meeting Super Bowl weekend. The couple was seen courtside on February 17th at an NBA All-Star Saturday Night event in Las Vegas, and on the 20th at a GM Ten event. Nick didn’t even notice when ex-girlfriend, Christina Milian had come out to sing!

Adam Levine’s New Girl

It looks like Maroon 5’s frontman, Adam Levine may be ready to settle down; after briefly dating Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson, he’s done playing around. He’s been laying low with a beautiful blonde, Becky, who he brought to dinner with the whole family, grandparents included, at L.A.’s Pane e Vino Trattoria. They were recently seen at an L.A. Lakers game giggling, and looking happy in-love.

Usher’s Officially Off the Market

Usher is engaged; he proposed to Tameka Foster, former stylist, on Valentine’s Day. His fans are not the only ones who are disappointed - Jonnetta Paton, Usher’s mom and manager is not at all pleased! A source tells Star, “Jonnetta fired Tameka two years ago because she had a bad attitude…she was outraged when she discovered they were dating and is devastated that they’re now engaged.�

It looks like the six-month romance between Penelope Cruz and Orlando Bloom has come to an end. On Feb 20, at the GM Tent event in L.A., Penelope spent her time “giggling and whispering� with new B.F.F. Demi Moore. Orlando sat several seats away, and later that night he was spotted “making out like mad with a pretty blonde� at L.A.’s hotspot Teddy’s. Things were more awkward the next night at L.A.’s Global Green USA bash, when the two posed for pictures with Leonardo DiCaprio conveniently in between them.

With their one-year anniversary approaching in a few months, Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova only wants one thing from British popstar James Blunt – an engagement ring. A source reveals, “She wants a ring for sure.� Keep your ears open for wedding bells!
