Jesse Metcalfe enters rehab

It's the season for rehab and another celebrity has checked in to a rehabilitation facility for alcohol abuse. The troubles star of the week is Jesse Metcalfe of "Desperate Housewives."

Jesse's rep gave the following statement to Page Six: "On Monday, March 19, Jesse Metcalfe entered a rehab facility to deal with alcohol issues. He realized he had a problem and was anxious to deal with it immediately. The actor, best known as the hunky gardener on the ABC show 'Desperate Housewives' and the star of the film 'John Tucker Must Die,' hopes that the media will allow him the privacy to deal properly with his treatment." (Apparently this flack thinks it's important to plug your client's work no matter the circumstances.)

Just before Metcalfe entered rehab he caused quite a commotion at the Mondrian in West Hollywood, causing him to "blacklisted" from the hotel, according to one Page Six source. The insider said that Jesse's dismissal from the Mondrian came because he had been "partying for four days straight last week and being really mean to the staff." In one instance, the snitch says Jesse "blew up at the doorman at Skybar because they wouldn't let him in."
