Details on Salma Hayek's romance

When Salma Hayek's rep announced last week that the actress was pregnant and engaged to French businessman, Francois-Henri Pinault, many were taken aback. Hayek was rarely seen with Pinault, so few knew she was even in a relationship. An insider has told Us Weekly that Hayek's decision to settle down has a lot to do with her ticking biological clock.

The snitch said, "Salma and Francois haven't even been dating a year. They were friends for awhile. The truth is that Salma is 40 years old and really wanted a baby. She's gotten to point where she really wanted a baby."

But even though Hayek and Pinault are still in the early stages of their romance, Hayek seems to be sure she's found the right man.
