Details on Angelina Jolie's next adoption

The Jolie-Pitt clan may have a new arrival in just a few short months. Angelina Jolie has filed for adoption of a 4-year-old boy from Vietnam's Tam Binh orphanage and she could have custody of him as soon as May.

Head of the Ministry of Justice for Vietnam, Vu Duc Long, told Us Weekly, "[Jolie] will have to follow [Vietnamese adoption] procedure like any other American." Still, in an interview with Agence France-Presse, Long said, "She might receive her adoptive child in three months, one month earlier than the normal timeframe for an adoption."

Jolie fast-tracked adoption, says Long, has to do with the fact that she picked out her child on a previous visit to Vietnam, and not her fame. She is said to have made the first steps towards adopting the boy about three months ago, but had been thinking about adopting for some time before that. An insider told People magazine that the adoption "process that began shortly after [her daughter] Shiloh was born [in May]."

Jolie may be taking a child from Vietnam, but she'll be leaving something behind as well. A source in Vietnam told Us, "[Angelina] promised to give $2 million to the Tam Binh orphanage on the very day she receives the child."
