Eye witnesses said that as she returned to Promises, she covered her face
and appeared visibly upset at leaving 18-month-old Sean Preston and
six-month-old Jayden James.
The next morning (07.03.07) Kevin, 28, left his California home at 5.30am
with the children, arriving at Promises at 6am.
A source told website X17online: "It seems like Britney is struggling being
away from Sean and Jayden because Kevin let her spend four hours with the
kids."
He returned home with the boys at 10.30am.
Speaking of Federline, the failed rapper is pitching a new reality show based on his current situation - a father with two toddler sons!
Federline, 28, is hawking a reality show that focuses on his life as a single dad and estranged husband of an out-of-control pop star reports The National Enquirer
"Kevin is ready for his second '15 minutes of fame,'" a source tells The ENQUIRER. "This time he wants to focus the cameras on his personal life as he assumes responsibility for his two sons. And he's not wasting any time getting the spotlight back on himself while Britney is occupied taking care of her substance abuse problems."
The couple already has one reality show under their belt, "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic," which followed their courtship and 2004 wedding.
In other news, a source close to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline tells Us Weekly that though the pop star, and her rapper ex, were "very close" to finalizing a divorce settlement and custody agreement earlier this year - "the money had been worked out, and they were going to share custody of the kids," says the insider - Spears' wild antics led Federline to rethink the plan.
In fact, he even "had his lawyer draft a file for a court order to take the kids [Sean, 18 months, and Jayden, 6 months] away from Britney," adds the source.
But now that she has settled into life at Malibu, California's Promises Residential Treatment Center, her ex's fears have subsided.
Says the pal, "Kevin is relieved."
