Brad Pitt's Love Note to Jennifer Aniston , upsets Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie, still mourning for her mother who passed away on January 27th from ovarian cancer is furious with lover Brad Pitt. According to Star Magazine, Jolie's beloved beau, Brad, sent ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, a card for her 38th birthday on February 11, signing the card "with love, Brad." To top it all off, he decided to share this gesture with Angelina, and according to Star's sources, "Angelina is unsteady and none of this went down well."

Brad was well aware of Angelina's emotional state long before the death of her mother and acted accordingly to prevent any outbreaks. On January 22, Brad refused an on screen kiss with sexy co-star, Megan Brown, on the set of his new drama The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. A source tells Star, "The feeling among the crew was that Angelina, 31, didn't like the girl because she was stunning." Angelina's afraid he'll fall for Megan, just like he did for her while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005.

Problems for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt don't end with Angelina Jolie's jealousy; Brad is also very concerned with her weight. A source reveals her diminishing frame is "a turn-off" to Brad. "He doesn't want to be stuck with an emotional train wreck! He likes an independent, self-confident woman."

In other news, Angelina Jolie, blew off the Oscars to travel to Africa.

As the couple prepare to adopt a Vietnamese child Jolie, 31, jetted off to the African nation of Chad on February 25 to visit with Sudanese refugees reports Us Weekly.

"She wants to galvanize action to end the horrors these people are living through," International Crisis Group's John Prendergast (who's worked with the actress before) tells Us.

Meanwhile, Pitt, 43, played Mr. Mom to the couple's three children (Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 9 months) back at their New Orleans mansion over the weekend -- but had to leave them with the nannies for a brief trip to L.A. on February 25.

When beauty Angelina Jolie returned from a two-day trip to refugee camps in eastern Chad this week, the Oscar-winning actress and UN goodwill ambassador praised humanitarian workers for their efforts to provide assistance and called for more aid.

In a statement released by the United Nation's High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) she said: "What is most upsetting is how long it is taking the international community to answer this crisis."
