Sources say the trouble between the two started when Brad - who played no part in the selection of the three-year-old orphan - begged his lover to wait until he was available to travel to Vietnam with her to collect the latest addition to her growing family. But Angelina, refused.
Pax is now with Angelina and his new family in New Orleans.
Angelina said: "We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond."
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $100,000 to build a medical center
in the Sudan.
The couple donated the money through their charity, the Jolie-Pitt
Foundation, to help build The Duk Lost Boys Clinic, which will be Duk County
's first modern medical facility.
John Dau, director of Direct Changes Sudan Project, said: "Words cannot
express my gratitude and the gratitude of the people of Duk County.
"Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt demonstrate the American spirit of generosity.
"Hopefully, their donation will inspire others to join with us to rebuild
southern Sudan."
John is one of the 'Lost Boys' of the Sudan and his story is featured in the
documentary 'God Grew Tired of Us', of which Brad was executive producer.
John came up with the idea of building a medical center for the area and
told Brad and Angelina of his plans at the film's Hollywood premiere in
January.
