Kevin Federline canceled plans to party in Las Vegas during NBA All-Star weekend, to offer support to troubled Britney Spears and their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James reports PR-Insider.
A source told People magazine: 'Kevin is concerned for Britney and his children. He loves her. He's always loved her - even after she started divorce proceedings.' The 28-year-old had booked a room from February 14 - 19 at Las Vegas' Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, but canceled the reservation.
Britney - who walked into Esther's Haircutting Salon in Tarazana, California late on Friday night (16.02.07) and shaved her head - voluntarily checked into rehab on Tuesday
According to Daily News. Kevin Federline is purposely staying out of the spotlight as estranged wife Britney Spears publicly unravels, hoping her wacky escapades will help him win custody of their two children, Federline's friends told the Daily News.
The failed rapper was hiding out in Los Angeles over the weekend as the singer alternately went bald and paraded in a blond wig.
"He is just waiting for her to get worse," a pal said. "She is only hurting herself right now."
Legal experts do not believe her recent behavior will damage her custody case.
Los Angeles attorney Nathan Goldberg said: 'It's bizarre behaviour. It might raise concerns about where the behaviour is coming from. What problems is she having, and how might those problems affect her ability as a parent? 'But all-night partying is unlikely to damage her case, especially in Hollywood where people in the entertainment industry go out at night all the time.' Loyola Law School Professor Laurie Levenson said: 'Shaving your head is bizarre, but it's not illegal. It won't affect her case unless you can show that she was out of her mind or on drugs when she did it.'
In the last week, Spears checked herself into rehab, checked out 24 hours later, and then went off for a head shave and a couple tattoos.
