Kevin Federline steps up to the plate now that Britney's in rehab!

Who would have thought that Kevin Federline would prove to have been a good influence on Britney Spears? It may be strange, but it certainly seems true. Since her split from Kevin, Britney's image has gone downhill quickly. Perhaps in a last attempt to save her career and herself, she was admitted into a rehab center today in Los Angeles.

Kevin appears to be playing the role of a true family man in the wake of Britney's latest crisis. According to sources for People magazine, Federline ditched his plans to go to Las Vegas for the NBA All-Star game this past weekend. He decided to stay in Los Angeles to be there for his two sons with Spears. He must have realized her shaved head was a cry for help.

An insider told People, "Kevin is concerned for Britney and his children. Of course he's concerned about her. He loves her. He's always loved her - even after she started divorce proceedings."
