Katie Holmes gushes about marriage and baby

These days, it's hard to spot Katie Holmes without her ever-present BFF, Victoria Beckham. In fact, Victoria even came along for Katie's latest magazine appearance. When the actress posed for the March issue of Harper's Bazaar, Beckham was her stylist. Victoria acted as guest fashion editor for the issue. Glenda Bailey, editor of the magazine, told People, "Victoria has a strong sense of style – she knew the pieces she wanted Katie to wear."

But Katie's interview was all about her new husband, Tom Cruise. Married for less than three months, Katie is still over the moon about becoming a wife. She says, "I am very grateful. Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him husband."

Katie also gushed about the joys of motherhood and her daughter, Suri. She says, "I've really enjoyed this time that I have taken to be with Suri as well as the challenges of the first couple of months: feeding and pumping, learning to decipher what each cry means – is she hungry? Is she tired? Does she need a fresh diaper? – and figuring out how to really help her." Katie didn't even mind being pregnant. She tells Harper's Bazaar, "I felt so proud to be having a baby and so excited. And I felt closer to other women – to my sisters, to my mom. I felt empowered, like, 'I've given birth. I did it! There's nothing I can't handle.' "

Though Katie has been reported to be pursuing acting again - she hasn't had a movie in theatres since last fall - she didn't reveal any firm plans to the magazine. She said, "I have a whole new set of responsibilities. My work is very important to me. My family is very important to me. When I go to work, it will be the right thing, worth my time and worth my time away from my family."
