Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony exploring Scientology

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have been constant companions of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes lately. Though the two couples had never been linked before, Lopez and Anthony were present for Holmes and Cruise's November nuptials in Rome. Since then, they have been spotted together on a number of other occasions and Tom and Katie were seen dancing backstage at one of Jennifer and Marc's performances over the Super Bowl weekend. Many suspected the new friendship was a result of Jennifer and Marc's having become Scientologists, but Jennifer's people quickly denied the rumor. Still, you can't believe every denial and sources are claiming that the couple has indeed been investigating the controversial religion.

According to Roger Friedman of Fox News, Jennifer and Marc have visited Scientology's Celebrity Center in Hollywood on a number of occasions. Friedman's sources claim that Marc has undergone a "purification" course and that Jennifer has sought out Scientology for help with her infertility and with marital woes. An insider said, "They're in. There's no doubt about it."

The couple is said to have been introduced to Scientology by Lopez's friend, Leah Remini's husband, Angelo Pagan. Lopez also recently admitted that her husband has been a Scientologist for 20 years. She told a Miami TV station, "It's weird people want to paint [Scientology] in a negative way."
